Anyone can subscribe to I-PATH.
You don’t need a qualification to get started.

When you subscribe, you get immediate access to a wide range of teaching tools designed to save you time and support your classes.

All subscribers can access the following for FREE:

• All I-PATH syllabuses
• Demonstration videos for every grade
• Downloadable Programme of Study eBooks
• Spotify and Apple Music playlists matched to our syllabuses
• A growing library of free teaching resources
• Ongoing updates as new resources are released

Everything is designed to be practical, clear, and easy to use in the studio or classroom.

Our AcroDance syllabus has one extra step to ensure safety and consistency.

To access AcroDance:

• If you are already qualified with another exam board to teach acro, you’ll need to complete a short online CPD course
• If you are not already qualified, you can book a 1-to-1 virtual short course with our Artistic Director

Once this is completed, full access to the AcroDance syllabus is unlocked.

To enter students for I-PATH Ofqual-regulated exams, teachers must hold at least a Level 4 qualification in a performing arts subject.

We accept qualifications from:

• Other regulated exam boards (including RAD, ISTD, IDTA, BBO and others)
• Teachers with a BA (Hons) degree in a performing arts and/or teaching-related subject

If you meet these requirements, you’ll be upgraded to Teacher Member status at no extra cost, allowing you to enter students for exams. Simply list your qualification(s) when you subscribe.

That’s absolutely fine.

You can still subscribe, use all available resources, and teach from our syllabuses. You can also still enter students for unregulated exams such as our Achievement Awards.

When you’re ready, we offer flexible pathways to help you gain the qualification you need to enter students for exams. Bursaries are also available.
